Four shot and wounded in suspected gang-related attack on Cape Flats
Two women and two men were shot in Westbank on Saturday night.

Police spokesperson Wesley Twigg says that officers had been called to the scene in Wydgelee Street on Saturday night.
He says that they found the victims, two men and two women, lying on the ground with gunshot wounds.
Twigg says the attackers fled the scene.
“According to reports; the two male victims were chased by unknown suspects who opened fire on them. The two female victims were caught in the crossfire. The motive for the attack is believed to be gang-related. The victims were transported to a medical facility for treatment. Mfuleni detectives are investigating four counts of attempted murder,” says Twigg.
