Jazz in the Gardens Music Fest celebrated its 19th year, nearly two decades of vibrant energy, over the March 7-8 weekend at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens. Jhené Aiko, Ludacris (delivering a special 25th anniversary set), Nelly, and Ashanti headlined the two-day music fest, drawing massive crowds who soaked up every beat.

GloRilla linked up with Sexyy Red for a high-energy performance of their hit “WHATCHU KNOW ABOUT ME,” igniting the stage with relentless fire.

Performers owned the spotlight: Ella Mai poured soul into her set, Mýa channeled full-on Planet 9 vibes against an outer space backdrop with her timeless classics, and Joe commanded the mic in a dapper sky-blue suit, hitting smooth, on-note classics like “Don’t Wanna Be a Playa” as the crowd sang along.

Pastor Mike Jr. took the crowd to church, dropping powerful words that resonated deep, while Boney James delivered slick jazz grooves. D-Nice & Friends—featuring SWV, Robin Thicke, Case, Sunshine Anderson, and Kenny Burns—kept the party pulsing, and violinist Damien Escobar shut it down in his Jazz in the Gardens debut, making every note from first bow to finale electrify Miami Gardens.

Surviving brothers, Ronald and Ernie Isley, were honored during the show for their decades of music, influence, and impact.

“Our community looks forward to Jazz in the Gardens every year because it brings people together in a powerful, joyful way,” Mayor Rodney Harris shared in a press announcement—and the crowd reciprocated that energy fully, turning the fest into pure celebration.

Ashanti commanded attention, slaying in an unforgettable outfit with flawless hair and a body that radiated fire.

Jhené Aiko owned the night in a shimmering backless dress. She opened with “None of Your Concern” to set a dreamy, ethereal vibe. Her feathery, melodic voice, one of R&B’s most beautiful, wrapped the crowd in passion. She packaged that charming evening perfectly, sealing fans in a cloud-nine float-away as the perfect Miami night unfolded.

Jazz in the Gardens delivered another unforgettable weekend, with fans already hyped for the 20th year ahead.
