By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): Police in Orange Walk have cleared yet another hidden stash spot, this time pulling seven small bricks of suspected crack cocaine from a bushy area along Naranjal Street during a late-night search, with no one around to claim them.
According to the Belize Police Department, on Friday, August 7, 2026, at about 11:00 p.m., members of the Quick Response Team attached to the Orange Walk Police Formation conducted a search of a bushy area on Naranjal Street.
During the search, an officer found a small transparent plastic containing seven small bricks of a buff substance suspected to be crack cocaine.
No one was in the immediate area at the time of the discovery, and the suspected drugs were taken to the Orange Walk Police Station as found property.
At the station, the suspected crack cocaine was weighed on a working digital gram scale, amounting to 4.3 grams. The drugs were placed in a labelled envelope and deposited as found property.
No arrests have been made, and the matter remains under police attention.
