Bantu Nots Gets Vulnerable Ahead of Third Single and ‘B11NGO’ Release. Bantu Nots is turning up the volume on his latest chapter, with the Johannesburg rapper set to drop his third single at midnight as anticipation builds for his upcoming tape, B11NGO.

The artist, widely known as the “011 God”, shared the update on Instagram alongside a surprisingly vulnerable admission about where he finds himself in his career.

“I’m scared the tape is here / And I ain’t even reached my prime yet ,” he wrote before confirming that the third single would arrive at midnight and that the full project is scheduled to follow next week.

It is a fitting reflection from an artist who has continued to carve out his own lane while representing Johannesburg through his music. Bantu Nots has built a growing catalogue around sharp storytelling, blending Zulu and English with the energy, struggles and everyday realities of life in the 011.

His self-titled project and Nots Extension mixtape helped strengthen his reputation, with the latter surpassing one million Spotify streams and giving further momentum to his rise.

Now, B11NGO is positioned as his next major statement. The project has been presented as something deeply personal, shaped by sacrifice, loss and transformation. Bantu has previously spoken about losing a home, relationships and parts of himself throughout the journey, describing the process as necessary for becoming the artist he was destined to be.

Even the title carries a piece of his identity. B11NGO, also styled B11NG0, plays on Johannesburg’s 011 area code in reverse, reinforcing the connection between the rapper and the city that continues to influence his sound.

The rollout has already begun making noise. Yenza opened the campaign with its energetic bounce, while the title track was lined up as another key release ahead of the tape.

With the third single arriving tonight, the countdown to the full project is officially reaching its final stretch. B11NGO is expected to feature 16 tracks and is scheduled for release on September 3.
