Belize turns up the heat with sunny skies and 95 inland

By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): A fresh to moderate easterly airflow is in control over Belize today, according to the National Meteorological Service.

Expect sunny skies with a few cloudy spells and isolated shower activity through the day. Tonight will be partly cloudy with isolated showers, except for a medium chance of a few more over southern areas late night or early morning.

Inland temperatures will climb to 95 degrees Fahrenheit before dropping to 74 overnight. The coast reaches 89 with a low of 82, while the hills stay at 82 and fall to 68.

At sea, northerly winds will blow at 10 to 15 knots. Seas will range from a light chop to choppy with waves of 2 to 5 feet.

Monday and Monday night will bring mainly fair weather with isolated showers or thunderstorms.

Tropical cyclone formation is not expected over the region during the next 48 hours.
