Durban City coach says they are ready to face TS Galaxy
Assistant coach Ashraf Hendricks says Durban City FC is ready for Nedbank Cup final on Saturday
Durban City Assistant coach Ashraf Hendricks says his side is ready to face TS Galaxy under its new leadership in the Nedbank Cup final on Saturday.
He admits that a coaching change can bring uncertainty, with new ideas and strengths often making opponents difficult to predict.
Hendricks, however, insists that the Citizens are focused on their own creativity, discipline and game planning rather than over-thinking the opposition.
Bernard Parker will lead the Rockets coaching team in the Nedbank Cup Final at Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane, in Limpopo, after the team fired its coach Adnan Beganovic a few weeks ago. Hendricks says this final would be a different scenario.
“When a new coach comes, there are so many things that you need to look at, unlike when you have a previous coach you can look at his five games prior. We watched the Magesi game, obviously, it’ll always be different. It can be a different scenario.”
