I became a Loan Officer because I want to help New Yorkers understand and navigate the homebuying process. At FM Home Loans, I help borrowers find the loan program that best suits their needs and educate them to feel comfortable moving forward throughout the homebuying process without feeling overwhelmed.
My personal experience as a first-time homebuyer taught me two vital lessons: First, I was turned down for a home loan several times until one lender took the time to ask about my situation. That opportunity to explain my situation enabled me to buy a home and maintain my residence in NYC. Second, I learned that in a market like NYC, if you qualify for an affordable program, you should fully explore that opportunity because the rent payment that feels comfortable today can become unaffordable in ten years.
