The Inkatha Freedom Party (IFP) in Gauteng is set to visit the family of slain Rand West City councillor, Mbuso Mzwandile Mthimkhulu, at their home in Bekkersdal.
The 46-year-old PR councilor was shot and killed on Thursday evening after a community meeting.
The party’s Gauteng Chairperson Bonginkosi Dhlamini will lead the delegation as they extend condolences and offer support to the grieving family.
Dhlamini says the visit also aims to honour Mthimkhulu’s dedicated service and commitment to uplifting his community.
