The final day of Antigua Carnival 2026 ended in a spectacular explosion of colour, culture and community as thousands lined the streets for the traditional Carnival Parade.
From the elegance of the Carnival Queen contestants and the towering Moko Jumbies to the dazzling revellers in elaborate costumes, the parade celebrated the creativity and spirit that define the nation’s biggest festival.
Families, visitors, and spectators of every generation braved the sweltering heat to cheer on the participants, while representatives of the Chinese community and the Antigua & Barbuda Tourism Authority’s Next Stop Antigua Carnival promotional bus, presented by the Director of Tourism for Canada, highlighted the festival’s growing international appeal.
