A representative for McClain confirmed that he passed away on Tuesday in Malibu. Sources familiar with the situation told TMZ that McClain had been battling an illness for several years, though no official cause of death has been publicly disclosed.
For millions of Michael Jackson fans, McClain was one of the key figures responsible for preserving and expanding the King of Pop’s legacy after he died in 2009.
