By Zoila Palma: Today, President of El Salvador Nayib Bukele participated in the signing of the agreement formalizing Air Europa’s integration into the country’s connectivity network.
Air Europa added a new direct route between San Salvador and Madrid that will begin this December.
“This agreement is a commitment to further positioning El Salvador on the world stage, bringing us closer to Europe and opening the doors to more airlines, more visitors, and more investment,” a statement from the Government of El Salvador said.
The flights will be operated with Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft, offering greater efficiency and an experience aligned with the airline’s international standards.
Air Europa has been operating since 1986 and flies to more than 55 destinations worldwide.
