When love takes the wheel and leads the way!
Cape Town, South Africa (25 May 2026) – An image shared by Animal Rescue Organisation – a non-government organisation in the Mother City that aims to relieve the suffering of township animals – gives a glimpse at what true love and care for an animal looks like.
A pet owner, whose sweet dog required the services of animal welfare, safely wheeled his needy companion through township streets to find the care they needed.
“When love for your pet runs deep, you find a way—no matter what. This incredible owner didn’t let a lack of transport stop him from getting his sweet dog the care they needed.” the organisation shared. “With a wheelbarrow lined comfortably with blankets and foam, he made sure his best friend arrived safely and in total comfort.”
A picture that speaks a thousand words. We’ve reported on this sort of love often. The kind that travels kilometres on foot and always makes a plan when a four-legged love needs special attention.
Responsible pet ownership isn’t about being able to give your pet companions the world, it’s about giving them all that you can, and letting love lead the way when you can’t.
