A package containing a substance, which is suspected to be cocaine, was reportedly found on a beach in Barbuda on the afternoon of Monday, August 3rd.
According to the source, a man visiting Barbuda reported finding a black, sealed package on the beach at Coco Point at about 4:50 p.m.
The source also said that officers later examined the package after it was taken to a resort’s parking lot. It was reportedly wrapped in black waterproof material and contained 20 vacuum-sealed packages believed to contain cocaine, bearing the Tequila Código 1530 logo.
The items were taken to the Barbuda Police Station for investigations.
