Zambia Under 17 Women’s National Team, has safely arrived in Rwanda, Kigali ahead of their opening 2026 FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup qualifier against Rwanda.
The team touched down at Kigali International Airport this afternoon in high spirits as they finalize preparations for the crucial first leg encounter scheduled for April 17, 2026.
Green Buffaloes Women players have traveled with the Zambia Under 17 Women’s National Team to Rwanda where they will play the Rwanda Under 17 National Team in a World Qualifier match.
And Buffaloes is well represented, Coach Carol Kanyemba will be leading the team, Young Green Buffaloes players Blessings Mutale and Ethel Njobvu are part of the team. Natasha Kasema and Elizabeth Mofya who are Green Buffaloes players are also with the team.
The first leg encounter will be played tomorrow 17th April the country capital Kigali.
