By Breaking Belize News Staff: The National Meteorological Service forecasts sunny and hazy skies and warm temperatures today. Tonight, skies will be partly cloudy. Expect isolated showers and isolated thunderstorms to develop over inland areas during the afternoon and evening hours, and mainly over the south tonight. A light and warm easterly airflow prevails.
High temperatures today are forecasted at 89 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 95 degrees in inland areas and 84 degrees in the hills, with lows tonight around 80 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 70 degrees in inland areas, and 66 degrees in the hills.
Winds are easterly to southeasterly at five to 15 knots, resulting in choppy to moderate seas.
Tides are high at 10:15 this morning and 11:52 tonight and low at 5:49 this evening. The sun rose at 5:25 this morning and will set at 6:13 this evening.
Monday and Monday night see fair and warm conditions, and showers will be generally isolated.
