By Zoila Palma: On August 25, 2026, Smart signed a Memorandum of Understanding in support of the Blue Teddy Bear Campaign, becoming the first major corporation in Belize to sign on to the initiative.
“For Smart, the signing represents a commitment to an issue that touches families and communities across Belize; ensuring that children are protected, supported and never left to suffer in silence,” the company said.
For more than two decades, Smart has been part of the everyday connections that keep families close.
Smart said that supporting the Blue Teddy Bear Campaign reflects the drive to the continued caring about the wellbeing of the people behind every call, message and moment shared.
