The Executive Committee of the South Sudan Football Federation (SSFF) has officially approved the regulations governing the 2025–2026 South Sudan National League, along with the competition budget.
The decision was made during an online meeting held on Thursday 23 April 2026.
According to the newly adopted regulations, the championship will be played in two phases. The first phase will feature three groups (A, B, and C).
The winners of each group will advance to the final stage, where they will face one another. The champion and runner-up of the final stage will qualify for the next edition of the South Sudan Premier League.
The league is expected to kick off in the first week of May. Rumbek will host Group A, while Juba will serve as the venue for Groups B and C.
This approval marks a significant step in ensuring the smooth organization and delivery of the upcoming national league season.
