Police have launched a manhaunt after three people were shot dead at Franschhoek.

Three people have been shot and killed at Franschhoek in the Cape Winelands. The shootings took place on Sunday morning.

Western Cape Police Spokesperson, Novela Potelwa, says two others were wounded. She says two armed men opened fire at a premises in Groendal, and no arrest has been made.

Potelwa says, “Provincial serious violent crime detectives have launched a manhunt for two gunmen believed to be behind a shooting incident that left three men dead, a woman, and another man wounded. The motive for the incident is the subject of a police investigation that is currently underway. Investigations continue.”
