Galatasaray striker, Victor Osimhen, has urged his teammates not to get stuck on their 4-1 defeat to Samsunspor in the Turkish Super Lig.
Speaking after the game on Saturday, Osimhen also urged Galatasaray to keep going despite the heavy defeat to Samsunspor, urging them to win at home next weekend and be declared Turkish Super Lig champions this season.
Recall that Osimhen provided the assist to Yunus Akgün for Galatasaray’s only goal of the match.
“Let’s not get stuck on this game. We have to keep going,” Osimhen said as quoted by Fotomac after the game.
“We need to win at home and declare the championship. Nothing has changed. The team will give everything. We will focus on the next match.”
Despite the setback, Osimhen has enjoyed an impressive season for Galatasaray, scoring 20 goals and providing eight assists in 32 appearances for his team.
