Join us for two public programs this month including a lunchtime talk about Paul Revere’s 1770 engraving The Bloody Massacre and a Civic Dialogues discussion about complex public problems. More information and registration below.
Our Spring season commemorating special anniversaries closes in six weeks. As we collectively watch NASA’s first human trip to the moon in over 50 years, don’t miss the prints made by pioneering artist Robert Rauschenberg after he witnessed the Apollo 11 launch in 1969. Other Spring shows reflect on the 250th anniversary of America through multiple lenses including the exhibition Defying Empire, which Jim Higgins of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel said “gives Americans living through today’s turmoil the chance to look at the turbulent period their colonial forebears experienced.” Scroll below for more details, including a link to the article.
