By Breaking Belize News Staff: Police are investigating a shooting in Unitedville Village that left 35-year-old Johann Harder injured on Sunday, May 31, 2026.
According to ASP Stacy Smith, the incident occurred around 1:30 p.m. Harder, who is from the Spanish Lookout community, was reportedly inside a stationary vehicle along with two male persons when two men exited another vehicle and fired several shots.
Harder was injured in the shooting.
Police say investigators have since identified both a vehicle of interest and a person of interest as the investigation continues.
No arrests were announced during Monday’s briefing.
