By Zoila Palma: Today, Social Security Board (SSB) marks an important transition in the leadership as they bid farewell to one distinguished Chair and welcome another.
“On behalf of the Board, Management, and staff, we extend our sincere appreciation to Mrs. Chandra Nisbet-Cansino for her dedicated service as Chair of the Social Security Board. During her tenure, Mrs. Nisbet-Cansino led with steady guidance, a clear vision, and a strong commitment to strengthening the institution and advancing its mission for the people of Belize,” SSB said.
SSB expressed gratitude to outgoing Chair and expressed enthusiasm as it welcomed Dr. Sheree Smiling Craig as the new Chair of the Social Security Board.
“Dr. Smiling Craig brings to this role a wealth of experience, professional expertise, and a strong commitment to public service. We look forward to working under her leadership as the Board continues to advance its strategic priorities, strengthen stakeholder confidence, and build on the solid foundation established by those who have served before her,” SSB noted.
SSB also expressed gratitude to Chandra Nisbet-Cansino for her outstanding service and extended a warm welcome to Dr. Sheree Smiling Craig as she assumes the role of Chair of the Social Security Board.
