Indo-Canadian Voice Coquitlam RCMP responding to a mudslide posted by: Rattan Mall
ON Thursday, March 19, at approximately 5:36 a.m., Coquitlam RCMP and Coquitlam Fire and Rescue Services responded to a report of a mudslide in the 1900 block of Pipeline Road, north of the Upper Coquitlam River Park in Coquitlam.
As a result, Pipeline Road has been closed to northbound traffic near the Coquitlam Water Treatment Plant. The public is asked to stay clear of the area.
Coquitlam RCMP is working with Coquitlam Fire and Rescue Services, BC Hydro, along with Coquitlam Search and Rescue and Coquitlam City staff to assess the situation.
