Hundreds of Women Gather in Saint Lucia for Powerful Conference on Purpose and Empowerment

Women from across Saint Lucia and the wider Caribbean gathered at the Finance Administrative Centre on Saturday for the third annual Queen Get Up Women’s Empowerment Conference, an event that highlighted the movement’s growing regional influence and its mission to empower women through faith, healing and personal development.

Held under the theme “Repositioning for Purpose and Assignment,” the conference attracted participants from Saint Lucia, Barbados and Grenada, reflecting the expanding reach of the Queen Get Up movement, which has also welcomed women from the United States.

The conference featured a series of transformational sessions designed to help women rediscover their identity, realign with their purpose and boldly embrace their calling. Discussions focused on personal and spiritual growth while equipping attendees with practical tools to navigate life’s challenges and fulfil their potential.

Throughout the day, participants engaged in worship, fellowship and interactive activities that fostered connection, encouragement and renewal. Music, dance and meaningful conversations created an atmosphere where women were inspired to support one another and celebrate their individual journeys.

Founder and host, counselling psychologist, author and speaker Sacha Jn Pierre-James, said Queen Get Up was established to create safe spaces where women feel seen, heard and empowered. She said the organisation is committed to helping women heal, grow spiritually and emotionally, and confidently step into the purpose for which they were created.

Beyond its annual conference, Queen Get Up continues to provide mentorship programmes, support group sessions and other initiatives aimed at helping women build meaningful relationships, overcome personal challenges and thrive in every area of their lives. Organisers say the conference’s continued growth reflects an increasing demand for platforms that inspire women to lead, serve and positively influence their families, communities and beyond.
