A 47-year-old woman from Stoney Ground has been charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
Shewaun Hughes appeared before the Magistrate’s Court on 9 June where she was granted bail in the sum of EC$40,000 with one surety, subject to conditions.
She must not interfere with or communicate with the virtual complainant, directly or indirectly, and should not leave Anguilla without the permission of the court.

She has also been ordered by the court to keep the peace, be of good behaviour and not commit any further offence while on bail.
The charges is in connection with an alleged incident in Stoney Ground on 9 June, a press release from the Royal Anguilla Police Force said on 11 June.
