Our favorite tight-knit group of friends navigating the messy, chaotic, and hilarious realities of midlife are back. Netflix has dropped the trailer for Season 2 of The Four Seasons.
Premiering on May 28, the second season brings back the ensemble cast of Tina Fey, Colman Domingo, Will Forte, Kerri Kenney-Silver, Marco Calvani, and Erika Henningsen. But as the new trailer reveals, the group is at a major crossroads.
The season kicks off in the wake of a massive shift for the friend group: the death of Nick (Steve Carell). As co-creator Lang Fisher shares, losing someone who was such a central fixture naturally throws the group off balance.

Jack (Forte) is having the hardest time adjusting to life without his buddy, desperately clinging to their old traditions in an attempt to freeze time. Meanwhile, Kate (Fey) is panicking internally over the group’s shifting dynamics but hasn’t quite figured out how to communicate her fears to her partner or friends.
Even before Nick’s passing, the crew was dealing with massive changes. You might remember the wintry cliffhanger of Season 1, where Nick’s new girlfriend, Ginny (Henningsen), revealed she was pregnant.
Now, Ginny is stepping into the role of a single mother, creating an unlikely and messy bond with Nick’s ex, Anne (Kenney-Silver). In true Anne fashion, her financial management of Nick’s estate is questionable at best, especially after trading his boat for two donkeys.
On another front, Danny (Domingo) and Claude (Calvani) are facing a major life decision of their own. After years of living a glamorous, carefree lifestyle, Danny drops a bombshell: he wants to have a baby. Fueled by the realization that life is short, the couple must figure out if they are ready to swap their permanent-35 mindset for fatherhood.
Of course, it wouldn’t be The Four Seasons without an incredible getaway. This season, the crew is taking their quarterly tradition international, heading to Italy to meet Claude’s family.
The Four Seasons Season 2 hits Netflix on May 28. Check out the trailer below.
