Mahico emerged winners of the ACB Caribbean Antigua Parish League Richie Richardson Competition following a three-wicket triumph over Police in the final contested on Sundy.
Batting first, the lawmen were bowled out for 108 runs in just 21.2 overs. Vincent Shadrack hit a top score of 26 while Michael Harrilall added 17 to the effort. Bowling for the winners, Michael Cornelius bagged three wickets for 20 runs in six overs while there were two wickets each for Akez France (2/7), Mike France (2/17) and Nayan Frederick (2/30).
Mahico found themselves in early trouble during their chase, struggling at 44 for seven but 36 off 39 deliveries from Michael Cornelius batting at number nine provided the impetus required to get them over the line and to their target at 114 for seven.
James Cornelius was the pick of the bowlers for Police, claiming three wickets for 12 runs. There was three wickets as well for Harrilall with three for 13.
