2026 USSSA Boys’ football:
Quarter-finals (Sunday, 17th May)
- Buddo S.S Vs Kyadondo S.S (9 AM)
- London College Nansana Vs AMUS College School (11 AM)
- Bukedea Comprehensive Vs Masaka S.S (2 PM)
- NUMASA S.S Vs St Mary’s Kitende (4 PM)

The 2026 Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association (USSSA) Boys’ football competition has zeroed down to the last eight stage (quarter-finals).
At stake are slots to represent the country for the 2026 FEASSA Games due in Morogoro city, Tanzania.
All the four quarter final matches will be staged at the Lira Town College playground.
Reigning champions Buddo S.S takes on Kyadondo S.S in the early kick off at 9 am.
The second contest has London College Nansana against AMUS College School at 11 AM.
This will be followed by Bukedea Comprehensive School (South) against Masaka S.S at 2 PM.
The final contest shall witness Masaka city’s NUMASA S.S with the tournament record winners St Mary’s Kitende at 4 PM.
There is virtually limited room for error in each of the four contests at hand.
“We have to fight hard for the East African slot. My players are aware of the magnitude of expectations at hand” Richard Malinga who is head coach at Amus College.
Amus College School needed a spirited 1-0 win over Lira City’s Mentor S.S with Ivan Okello striking home a decent free-kick in the 26th minute.
Masaka S.S’ head coach Rogers Rwebuga is equally aware of the demands that come at the quarter final stage.
“Our match against Bukedea Comprehensive is unpredictable. We therefore need to give 100% with equal offense and defence” Rwebuga whose side ejected Lubiri S.S 1-0 at the round of 16 stage noted.
A new trophy was officially unveiled on Thursday, 14th May 2026 and will be handed over to the champions after the final this coming Tuesday.
