Arsenal are Premier League champions for the first time since the 2003-04 “Invincibles” season after Manchester City drew 1-1 with Bournemouth.

The title was confirmed while Mikel Arteta’s squad and staff watched the game together at the training ground in Hertfordshire. Within minutes of full-time, Declan Rice posted an Instagram photo with Kai Havertz, Eberechi Eze, Bukayo Saka, Myles Lewis-Skelly, and William Saliba, captioned: “I told you all .. it’s done.” The post referenced his “It’s not done” message after Arsenal’s loss to City last month.

Footage from the watch party showed players and staff celebrating and chanting “championes,” with Eze jumping on a table. The squad later left to continue celebrations.

Arsenal’s website called Arteta’s achievement “cementing his place in our history as one of our greatest managers of all time.” At 44, he becomes the second-youngest manager to win the Premier League, behind José Mourinho’s 2005 title with Chelsea.
