Chinese Embassy raises concern over fraudulent attempts to obtain visas
If you choose to submit your application through an intermediary agency, the Embassy shall not be responsible for any commitments made by such agency. Where incorrect form completion or the submission of false information or materials is confirmed, the application will not be accepted. 2. The visa processing time is usually four working days ( from the date the passport and additional application materials are submitted to the Embassy). Prior to passport submission, applicants may be required to revise application information or provide supplementary materials during online review. Applicants are advised to regularly check the status of their application in the “Personal Center” and make timely updates or provide additional materials as requested. Passports may be submitted only when the application status shows “Passport to be submitted”, during the office hours. If the application information or materials do not meet the requirements, the application will not be accepted. 4. Applicants must provide truthful information and authentic materials when completing the application form. In cases of forgery, and other improper and suspected illegal means, the application will not be accepted. 5. Intermediary agencies and individuals must comply with the laws and provide truthful information and materials. Where improper, fraud or other suspected illegal conduct is identified, the application will not be accepted, and information of such conducts will be shared with relevant law enforcement agencies of the Gambia, for possible further action. 6. To facilitate the visa application work, all intermediary agencies are requested to submit their business registration information to the Embassy for record via email: consulate_gam@mfa.gov.cn Where an application form is completed by an Agency on behalf of the applicant, the Agency’s information shall be truthfully declared in the online application. 7.
