Myles Bullock Be steps into Dr. Dre's legendary role in Universal's Snoop Dogg biopic, reuniting with director Craig Brewer for the 2027 release.

Myles Bullock Be is stepping into one of Hip-Hop’s most legendary mentorship roles as Dr. Dre in Universal’s upcoming Snoop Dogg biopic.
The casting marks a major piece of the puzzle for the film, which has been building momentum since Jonathan Daviss was announced to play Snoop himself.
Director Craig Brewer is helming the project, with production backing from Brian Grazer, Allan Mandelbaum, Snoop Dogg, and Death Row Pictures president Sara Ramaker.
Bullock Be’s connection to Brewer runs deep.
The two previously collaborated on the 2024 Peacock miniseries “Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist,” where Bullock Be worked alongside Kevin Hart, Taraji P. Henson, and Samuel L. Jackson.
That chemistry clearly impressed Brewer enough to bring him back for this high-profile role.
Before that, Bullock Be appeared in 20th Century’s “White Men Can’t Jump” reboot and had a stint on Curtis Jackson’s hit Starz series “BMF.”
He’s also known for his work in Marvel’s “Runaways,” which has built a solid resume across film and television.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film will incorporate music from Snoop’s vast catalog, giving audiences the soundtrack to his rise.
The movie explores how Snoop emerged from Long Beach to become one of the biggest names in rap, with Dre’s guidance proving essential to that trajectory.
Bullock Be is currently shooting Hulu’s Prison “Break: Black Creek” reboot as a series lead, but he’s making time for this major film role.
