TRANSLINK is collaborating with Sanrio , the global lifestyle brand behind the iconic Hello Kitty and her beloved friends — including My Melody, Kuromi, Cinnamoroll, and more — to release limited-edition Compass Cards featuring Hello Kitty and Friends.
Exclusive bundles will be sold at Metrotown on Saturday, April 4. Any remaining bundles will be available online next week through the TransLink Store, only while supplies last.
With four different “supercute” designs, each bundle includes a Compass Card and collectible luggage tag as a unique keepsake. Demand is expected to be high and quantities are limited to two bundles per person, so fans are encouraged to arrive early.
Pop-up shop details this long weekend:
- Bundles will be available for $44.99 at Metropolis at Metrotown (Grand Court in the Lower-Level Atrium).
- Open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, April 4.
- Hello Kitty Compass Cards are adult fares and will be loaded with a $6 refundable deposit.
This marks the first time Sanrio has collaborated with TransLink, transforming an everyday transit essential into an exclusive collectible. By bringing Hello Kitty and Friends onto these four special Compass Cards and luggage tags, TransLink is creating a unique connection with customers and fans alike.
This latest release gives riders a colourful and delightful way to take transit throughout the region. The Hello Kitty bundles follow other limited-edition TransLink releases, including Captain Canuck, DC Super Heroes, and Elf-themed Compass Cards, over the last several years.
