KCCA face crucial final test ahead of title charge

While KCCA FC’s upcoming season opener promises plenty of off-pitch spectacle, the technical bench is treating the fixture as a critical tactical assessment ahead of the 2026/27 Uganda Premier League campaign.

The 13-time national champions enter the season under pressure to deliver consistent domestic results, and the featured friendly match during the launch will serve as the final high-intensity workout before competitive fixtures commence.

The match offers the coaching staff an opportunity to test tactical combinations, assess the integration of recent signings alongside established players, and evaluate overall physical readiness following their pre-season schedule.

The technical team regards the fixture as essential for sharpening squad depth and match sharpness, particularly given the competitive standard expected in the upcoming league campaign.
