Lugazi, Mbarara City lock horns in a relegation six pointer

Mbarara City make a long trip to Lugazi in a game where either side wants a win to enhance survival chances.

The visitors are on 21 points in 14th place, two adrift of Lugazi who are also not safe yet with four rounds of matches to play.

The winner could surely confirm survival with three match rounds to play if Buhimba United Saints don’t beat Express at Royals’ Park in Butema on Friday.

Lugazi ended a long winless streak by beating Buhimba United Saints 2-0 in their last outing and will hope to build on that as Simon Peter Mugerwa faces ex-bosses.

Mbarara City are on a three-match unbeaten streak and beat Express 2-1 in their last outing.

They (Mbarara City) come into the game confident from the past three meetings in which they have won once and drawn twice.

Elsewhere, Calvary host Police at Midigo Primary School Grounds in Yumbe.
