Remembrance as an instrument of prevention
On 14 October 2017, a bomb at Zoobe junction in Mogadishu killed hundreds of Somalis. Nine years later, we gathered in a hangar at Aden Adde International Airport to remember them. We did not come only to mourn. We came to decide what remembrance should now do.
