Mogadishu (HOL) — Somali traditional elders and international representatives helped broker a preliminary agreement June 4 between the federal government and former President Sharif Sheikh Ahmed’s Himilo Qaran party to ease tensions after clashes in Mogadishu, the party said Saturday.
