Three Suspects in Murder of Bishop Detained

Maputo (MOZTIMES) – The Mozambican police have detained three people suspected of involvement in the murder of the Catholic bishop of Quelimane, Osorio Citora Afonso, last Saturday.

According to the Quelimane spokesperson for the National Criminal Investigation Service (Sernic), Maximino Amilcar, the killers shot Afonso in the heart in the small hours of Saturday morning.
