Top Ranking Electrical capped off a sensational undefeated campaign to capture their maiden Commercial Basketball League crown over the weekend, powering past the Saint Lucia Fire Service 85-66 in the title matchup at the Beausejour Indoor Facility.
Entering the Saturday finale, both powerhouse units boasted unblemished group-phase records, setting the stage for an explosive clash to decide the 2026 champion.
National standout Andre Louison won his second championship in as many months, following his win with Bonne Terre Blazers in the KFC National Basketball League. Louison went for a game-high 31 points alongside six rebounds for Top Ranking.
Sidney Didier pulled down eight rebounds to go with his 14 points. Fabian Florton chipped in with eight points, and Junior Dupre contributed seven points and three steals, as Top Ranking established a commanding 42-27 cushion at the break.
The firemen staged a spirited second-half resurgence, but the early deficit proved too steep a mountain to climb. Veteran big man Marcian Calderon racked up a 19-point, 13-rebound double-double for SLFS. Ajini Ferdinand chipped in with 14 points and five boards, while Jerry Charles contributed 12 points and four rebounds.
In the third-place game, Saint Lucia Teachers Union held their nerve in a thrilling encounter, edging out the Ministry of Finance 71-68.
