Wafu-A women’s Under-20 championship opens

The 2026 Wafu- A Zonal U-20 Women’s football championship opened in Bissau on Friday.

This third edition of this international women’s youth football championship is contested by the under-20 national teams of the member associations of WAFU/ Zone A (West Africa) in Guinea-Bissau from 1 to 20 May 2026.

Senegal are the defending champions, having won record second title in 2024.
