WAGS to World Cup: Meet Bafana players’ wives and girlfriends

All eyes are on Bafana Bafana ahead of the kick-off of the FIFA World Cup next week. Who are the women, or WAGS, who support the national team?

MEET THE BAFANA WAGS

Unlike their rugby national team, the Springboks, Bafana players keep a very low profile about the women they date.

The soccer stars steer away from posting their partners or baby mamas on their social media platforms. Others are proudly single.

Here’s a look at a few known Bafana WAGS.

WILL THEY BE COMING TO THE WORLD CUP?

Unlike WAGS of other national teams who travel with their partners and stay in five-star accommodation, the partners of Bafana Bafana players are likely to remain behind in South Africa.

If they do decide to go to the FIFA World Cup, they’d likely have to pay for their own expenses.

According to The Mirror, WAGS of the English team have already landed in the US, where their partners will be playing, and have secured luxury accommodation and a jam-packed itinerary courtesy of a travel expert.
