Earlier this week, she returned to the American Idol stage alongside British singer RAYE for a special performance celebrating the 25th anniversary of her debut album Songs in A Minor.
For the performance, the standout piece of her look featured an unexpected twist. Her trench coat had a glossy patchwork leather design with hues that seamlessly melted into one another. She paired the outerwear with high-waisted jeans featuring gold-button detailing and a dramatic bell-bottom silhouette. Tying it all together was a red V-neck top underneath.
