At the heart of the occasion were 173 officers who reached an extraordinary milestone, 25 years of service. They were recognized by the Ministry of the Public Service and Disaster Risk Management during a ceremony held on June 24 in Belize City, where their dedication took centre stage.

Governor-General H.E. Dame Froyla Tzalam and Minister Henry Usher presented the awards, offering their appreciation and congratulations to the recipients for their commitment and accomplishment over the years. The honourees were celebrated not just for their length of service, but for the countless contributions they have made along the way.

Adding to the significance of the day, Ambassador Amino Chi attended as the guest speaker. He called 25 years of service a great milestone, noting that recognising long-serving public officers means acknowledging the many hours, the quiet sacrifices, and the unwavering devotion that have shaped Belize’s governance and development.
