Belize gets another sunny and mostly dry Monday

By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): September may be in the heart of the rainy season, but Belize gets another mostly fair day today.

The National Meteorological Service says sunny skies will dominate, with only a few cloudy spells expected during the day.

Any showers or thunderstorms that develop should remain isolated, meaning most of the country will stay dry.

Tonight becomes partly cloudy, although southern Belize has a better chance of seeing a few showers or thunderstorms.

It will remain hot, with inland temperatures reaching 95 degrees Fahrenheit. The coast gets up to 90 while the hills reach 84.

There is not much change coming Tuesday either, with similar fair and warm conditions expected through Tuesday night.

No tropical cyclone formation is expected over the region during the next 48 hours.

For most of Belize, Monday is shaping up to be sunny, hot and largely rain-free.
