Brockwell Festivals: Resident access, priority parking and managing noise

Lambeth has announced details of resident access and priority parking around Brockwell Park during main event days, as well as the noise measures in place for the festivals.

Resident access and priority parking

A range of traffic and access measures will be in place on roads and estates around Brockwell Park during main event days, to help keep residents moving and manage the safe flow of visitors.

The main event days are:

  • 23 – 25 May
  • 30 – 31 May

On these days:

  • Local roads will be resident parking only
  • Some road closures and vehicle access only restrictions will be in place. Resident access by car will be maintained, but you may be asked to follow temporary signage or alternative routes
  • To help ensure smooth access, residents are asked to display their blue resident information leaflet clearly in the front of their vehicle
  • Roads in the area will be staffed by traffic marshals to help manage access and support residents
  • Additional parking patrols will be in place to manage congestion and enforce restrictions

Resident support and managing noise

Lambeth say:

We recognise that noise and other impacts can be a concern for residents during events. A number of measures are in place to help manage this:

Sound checks are carried out at the start of each festival day

Noise levels are monitored throughout events to ensure agreed limits are followed

On-the-ground teams are available to respond quickly to any issues

If you have concerns during the events whether about noise, parking or other disruption, you can contact the Brockwell Live community team phone line on 020 3886 3576 or email community@brockwell-live.com.

The phone line is open till 5 June (8am–8pm), with extended hours until 23:30 on event days.
