The man who was involved in a shooting incident at Carlisle Bay Resort over three years ago has admitted to firearm-related charges.
Frederick Henry appeared before the court on Monday and pleaded guilty to the charges linked to a shooting at the Old Road resort.
Henry, a resident of Golden Grove, is scheduled to be sentenced on July 21st.
The charges stem from an incident on April 11th, 2023. Police alleged that Henry shot two employees, Dane Anthony and Morrisa Henry, at about 11:30 p.m. as they were walking towards the gate after finishing their shifts.
Anthony was reportedly shot at least twice, while Henry sustained multiple gunshot wounds to her arms and side. Both victims were treated at the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre and having spent some time in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and the Surgical Ward, they were later discharged.
