Luanda (MOZTIMES) – Mozambican President Daniel Chapo has called for structural investment in tourism, in order to reduce Mozambique’s dependence on revenues from natural gas.
According to Chapo, speaking on Wednesday in Luanda, during a Presidential Dialogue on Global Tourism, held under the motto “Shaping the Future of Tourism in Emerging Destinations”, despite the large-scale investments planned in Mozambican liquefied natural gas, estimated at between 50 and 60 billion dollars over the next ten years, the economy must not be based solely on extractive industries.
