CHARLESTOWN, NEVIS, June 2026 — The Department of Education is inviting the public to an afternoon of creativity, music, and theatrical entertainment as part of the ongoing celebration of Child Month 2026.
The Department will host its highly anticipated Nursery Rhymes Production on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at the Nevis Performing Arts Centre, beginning promptly at 4:00 p.m.
The family-friendly event will showcase the talents of young children from across the island as they bring beloved nursery rhymes and storybook characters to life through captivating performances featuring song, drama, and dance. The production promises an engaging, entertaining experience for audiences of all ages, highlighting the creativity, confidence, and developmental achievements of Nevis’ youngest learners.
The event forms part of Child Month 2026 celebrations being observed under the theme:
“Fueling Our Bodies with the Best: Good Nutrition, Movement, Rest.”
Organisers encourage parents, families, educators, and community members to come out and support the young performers as they take centre stage in a celebration of learning, imagination, and self-expression.
Admission Fees
Adults: EC$15
Children (12 years and older): EC$10
Children (5 years and older): EC$5
Tickets are available for purchase at all Early Childhood Centres across Nevis. Patrons may also purchase tickets at the venue on the day of the event.
