Thank you Gill, this is a really important issue, having just been to the Richard Dadd exhibition at the RA, work hung very high, lighting glare, a really difficult show to enjoy without a stiff neck! we do need to keep the pressure on the so-called mainstream, but we do need to push for more resources to manage and curate our own work as a sector, and on our terms.
