By Breaking Belize News Staff: Police are investigating a shooting in Dangriga Town that left 19-year-old Jahson Marin injured on Tuesday night.
The incident reportedly occurred around 9:00 p.m. in the Riverside Estate area of Dangriga. According to police, Marin was entering a property when an individual in a vehicle stopped and fired several shots at him.
Police say no motive has yet been established. However, investigators noted that the property Marin was entering has been frequented by police in relation to anti-drug and weapons operations.
Marin was transported for medical treatment. Police said his condition was believed to be stable, though they were still confirming whether he remained in critical condition.
