Daps Dalyop Gwom Releases Powerful EP “Kabi Yabo Na (Take My Praise)”

Nigerian gospel minister Daps Dalyop Gwom has officially released his highly anticipated EP “Kabi Yabo Na (Take My Praise)” on March 28, 2026, delivering a spiritually charged body of work rooted in African Epic Worship.

The project arrives as a profound expression of faith, birthed from a deeply personal encounter as Daps reflected on the nature of God as Father, King, and Judge. In that moment of surrender, a moving melody in Hausa emerged, later revealed as a prophetic sound symbolising a call from the courtroom of heaven. This inspiration forms the foundation of the EP, shaping its powerful message and direction.

Kabi Yabo Na (Take My Praise) is more than a collection of songs; it is a spiritual declaration. The EP captures the emotional tension between human struggle and divine justice, giving voice to those seeking intervention, restoration, and hope. Through its themes, Daps positions worship as both devotion and advocacy, calling on God as the righteous Judge who defends the oppressed and transforms circumstances.

With over 30 years in ministry, Daps Dalyop Gwom continues to stand as a pioneering force in African prophetic worship. As the senior leader of Ancient Floodgate Global Ministry, he has cultivated a unique worship expression often described as manna music, blending prophetic intensity with deep spiritual reflection. His extensive catalogue includes widely embraced songs such as “Kadosh You Reign,” “My Altar is Calling You,” and “Season of Kings,” along with several influential albums.

Beyond music, his impact extends into leadership and mentorship. He has composed official anthems for Nigerian states, including Edo and Plateau, teaches at the School of David, and convenes the globally recognised Feast of Incense International Conference, a gathering known for its deep worship and spiritual significance.

Influenced by gospel icons like Paul Wilbur, Fred Hammond, and Don Moen, Daps continues to expand his reach while staying anchored in his calling.

With the release of “Kabi Yabo Na (Take My Praise),” Daps Dalyop Gwom once again affirms his role as a leading voice in gospel ministry, offering a project that transcends music to become a powerful tool for worship, prayer, and spiritual encounter.
